What a lovely experience!

We were thrilled to make the decision to stop over in port alfred and discover a hidden gem. We extended our stay for 3 nights and loved every minute. The rooms are huge with every amenity needed. The furnishings are tasteful, and quirky with great attention to detail. We were hosted by Angi who goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Delicious breakfasts are brought to your room to enjoy privately on your own balcony with the most amazing view of the sea , marina and Port alfred. Highly recommend this guest house. Good value for money as well

The place to stay in Port Alfred

We have been staying at The Lookout Guesthouse since we discovered it in early 2021 when my husband was doing business in the area.

Thanks to the comfortable rooms, tasteful furnishings and interiors, friendly hospitality and convenient location it has become our Home away from Home in Port Alfred.

The guesthouse has stunning views across PA to the Ocean and breakfasts are of special mention.

Highly recommend staying in this exquisite spot whether in town for business/pleasure or both.

Amazing, Family-friendly stay!

My family and I stayed at The Lookout over the December period. We had an amazing time! The rooms really feel like a home-away-from-home, with their warm and inviting decor and little extra touches. The food was amazing, and the little ones were endlessly entertained at the pool, while the adults enjoyed a drink at the little braai and bar on site. A truly amazing visit - Angie, you are a wonderful host and we cannot thank you enough! Will definitely be coming back :)

Everything was fantastic. Wonderful views/spotlessly clean/immaculate throughout/excellent hosts/safe parking We had room 3 which was ideal for 2 people. Thoroughly recommend. All in all outstanding place to stay.

Absolutely gorgeous property.

We were blown away by how lovely our apartment was and the view was incredible. Very well equipped, super comfortable and great value for money! We all loved having a dip in the pool!! The perfect way to wake up in the morning was with the catered breakfast on our balcony, it was delicious and such a treat. Wish we had booked another night as we loved it in Port Alfred and the Lookout far exceeded our expectations. *Would highly recommend *

Excellent accommodation & lovely hosts.

As suggested by the name the views over Port Alfred are excellent. Our accommodation was light and airy with masses of room . Everything provided for self catering needs. There is a nice little pool to cool off in when the weather is hot!

This venue has the best view ever! Louise is always friendly and available to assist. We find the rooms very comfortable with all the necessary facilities for self catering. We have returned 3 times and find Unit 2 the best.

The place is stunning, the view is amazing and the service was great. Louise is so friendly, she made me feel right at home! breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend the lookout guest house to friends and family. Lovely getaway place for couples.

This is an AT HOME B&B.with a most concerned lady of the house. Safe parking, the gardener washed my car without being asked!Great location, lovely view, very friendly owners and staff.
